Public school conditions in Honduras are often poor. Through the partnership with the Cristo Resucitado Methodist church in Ciudad España, the Juan Wesley school was opened in 2014. The mission of the school is to break the chain of poverty by offering a quality, faith-based education.
For just $39.50 - $47.50 a month, you can provide private faith-based school education for children in Honduras.
The Church of the Resurrection has been in partnership with Ditshego House of Laughter since 2014. The preschool at Ditshego serves young children in the informal settlement at Mooiplaas, near Pretoria, South Africa. Ditshego provides structured instruction for approximately 125 children, 3-6 years old, giving them important early childhood educational skills.
The Ditshego program costs $37 per month (610 South African Rand) to deliver it to one child.
At the MUMC Preschools they try to serve the most vulnerable families in each of their communities with Early Childhood Education from Monday thru Friday, nutritious porridge, safe care while parents are at work, teaching materials and school supplies.
$37 a month ($444 a year) will sponsor half of a preschool classroom.
Unable to give $37/month? Let us know how much you would like to donate and we will pair you with other team sponsors.
