Hello, everyone! It's our last morning in Honduras. We had a breakfast to make us feel at home: eggs, bacon and toast.
After breakfast we went to see the Christ statue overseeing the city of Tegucigalpa. We were able to reflect on our week’s accomplishments and remember we are here to serve others.
Then it was off to the airport. Due to the traffic, we got to the airport later than planned, but we were able to make it onto the plane. Some of us straight through security onto the plane. We cut it close but we made it.
Perfect way to end a fabulous week in Honduras. We're looking forward to heading back to the States!
