Hola Amigos!

Today was a lovely start to the week. We were able to join our friends at Cristo Resucitado in Ciudad España. It was such a joy to experience a worship service, in our debrief tonight almost everyone mentioned how good it was to connect in worship. It served as a poignant reminder that the God we serve is so much bigger than language or borders.

The youth group dance ministry was able to offer a dance during the service.

After church, we were able to visit our friend Vilma’s house. She gave us a tour of her backyard garden. In her backyard she has squash, coffee, bananas, mangoes AND sugar cane. We all got to sample some sugar cane and it’s incredible.

After a lovely visit, we were able to pile back in the van and we made our way back to the mission house. Once we arrived we dove right into lesson planning for our ESL class with the students at Juan Wesley School in Ciudad Espana tomorrow morning.

We feel blessed and privileged to kick off our week of serving tomorrow!

Gracia y Paz!

Joyce
