Our first day started early with everyone arriving at KCI airport at 3:20am. After a blessing by Norm, we were off to the gate. We met up with Mary in Charlotte, then met up with Tony when we landed in San Juan, Puerto Rico at 1:30pm. Willy met us at the airport and helped us get to our transportation where we met Cherin who truly blessed us. He thanked us for our service and told us that he saw grace and mercy through us. He said it so eloquently that we were all very moved. After a quick stop for supplies, we arrived at the campsite/bunkhouse and were welcomed graciously by Joey, Juan, Chou, Evelyn and their son Adrian. As we sat down for dinner, Pastor Eric came in to join us. We were so blessed by his presence and are looking forward to hearing his sermon tomorrow and sharing a meal with his congregation. After our devotions "I am no longer my own" we all decided it was time to call it a day. Excitement and anticipation for what God has in store for us tomorrow was echoed by all.
